Nike Just Made One of Its Wildest Shoes Even Wilder

Earlier this year as a lifestyle variant of its record-breaking Zoom Alphafly NEXT% runner, Nike introduced the fascinating Air Zoom Type. While still boasting a very unique style, with this latest update courtesy of the Swoosh, the DIY-inspired sneaker has gotten even wilder.

Here we see the Type SE Air Zoom offered in a sail, light brown mahogany, and white colorway, fitted with everything from a sherpa shroud and metallic zippers to multicolored laces and jewel dubraes. A furry lining, geometric pattern on the pull tabs and insoles and a speckled midsole are also included in the sneaker to make it stand out even more.

We definitely can’t argue with you if you think it’s all a little too much but at least you can strip the zippered shroud from the over-top laces. Even with an already eye-catching silhouette, it is an undeniably outlandish look.

Attracted to the wild design? You’ll soon be able to buy this specific Air Zoom Type SE colorway ($150) at select retailers and Nike.com.
