The NBA Championship this year may be over, but 2020 is not yet over with fresh drops from Jordan. The first AJ1 release for more than a month, the “Lucky Green” Nike Air Jordan 1 hit shelves today via a limited release, but they are still available for resale.
The “Lucky Green” Jordan takes influence from the 63-point score against the Boston Celtics back in 1986 by Michael Jordan. Part of its Holiday 2020 release date, the Swoosh describes the “Lucky Green” AJ1 as a shoe with an emphasis “on progress, not perfection,” — a nod to the fact MJ ‘s legendary success occurred during his rookie year.
Although mainly made up of matted white and vibrant green leather across the surface, red and black components across the AJ1 offer contrast and a finished product not far from the “Heineken” Dunk that was launched back in 2003. Within lies an insole in the parquet style that is influenced by the court of the Boston Celtics, now called the TD Garden.
“Lucky Green” is slated as an exclusive release for women, but men’s sizes are also planned. StockX sales research reveals the new sneaker is reportedly attracting an estimated selling price of $259. On the resale platform, it has reached a 52-week high price of $349.
