Camperlab today released its latest collection of footwear, this time under the direction of new artistic director Achilles Ion Gabriel. The new line strives to concentrate on the elegance of simplicity, dropping any needless frills and allowing the Mallorcan roots and expert craftsmanship of the brand to express.
The collection consists of eight types of footwear, most definitely the stand-out of which is the sandal, which seems to take hints from the zori sandals in Japan. Typically made of rice straw, linen, lacquered wood, leather or rubber, Zori sandals are thonged sandals.
The Hastalavista sandal is influenced by Japanese thonged flip flops which offer a slightly more durable and stylish makeover to the timeless and basic style.
The version of Camperlab comes in three colors, and is called the Hastalavista. It retails for €250 and is now available through the online store at Camperlab.
